RECIPES > SAUSAGE MAC & CHEESE

Ingredients:
(7.25 ounce) packages dry macaroni and cheese *Use Canola Harvest Margarine (no Cholesterol or Saturated Fat)
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
1 pound Colosimo sausage, casings removed. (Try different varieties)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Prepare both boxes of macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
2. In a small skillet cook sausage until meat is no longer pink; drain. Cool to room temperature.
3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl mix together the chopped bell green pepper, onion, tomato, and prepared sausage.
Chef's Tip: You may want to decorate the top with slices of Tomato and Pepper.
4. Mix in prepared macaroni and cheese to large bowl with vegetables and sausage. Stir to incorporate ingredients evenly. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
5. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F (175 degree C) oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until crispy on top. Serve warm.
